Church of the City

Summary:

At Church of the City, our interns play an active role in helping our church live out its mission: seeing the fame and deeds of God renewed and known in our time. The COTC Internship Program exists to develop the next generation of leaders who are passionate about Jesus, committed to the local church, and eager to grow in their gifts and calling.

Interns are placed across our four locations—Franklin, Downtown, Spring Hill, and Nolensville—and serve alongside staff in meaningful, hands-on ministry roles. Throughout the program, interns receive intentional discipleship, leadership development, and practical ministry experience in a multi-site church setting.

The internship program begins August 10, 2026 and ends May 27, 2027. These roles have a part-time schedule between Sunday - Thursday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for All Interns (other duties may be assigned):

  • Support your ministry team in weekly operations and events
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and development gatherings
  • Contribute to the mission and culture of Church of the City through service and teamwork
  • Pursue personal spiritual growth and community engagement throughout the internship
  • Demonstrate a teachable spirit and a heart to serve wherever needed
